Role Description

As a Sales Consultant at Winhaul you will be a key player in promoting and selling our products and services, including gensets and truck/chassis tires, to a diverse range of customers in the transportation industry. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and fostering long-term relationships with clients who rely on our products. This is a challenging and rewarding position that combines technical knowledge, effective communication, and a customer-centric approach. This is a full-time hybrid role, with consultants working both on-site and remotely.

The Sales Consultant’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Generating leads and qualifying prospects
  • Presenting, promoting and selling products/services to potential and existing customers
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships
  • Providing reports on sales activities and tracking progress towards objectives while achieving or exceeding sales targets through effective prospecting, follow-up, and closing strategies
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints to ensure satisfaction
  • Understanding and effectively communicating the features, benefits, and technical specifications of Winhaul products
  • Identifying customer needs and providing customized solutions
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the transportation industry, including emerging trends and regulations
  • Collaborating with the sales team, marketing, and support departments ensuring a cohesive customer experience, aligned sales strategies, and targeted goals
  • Staying updated on industry developments, competitors, and environmental initiatives to align with Winhaul’s sustainability focus
  • Providing excellent after-sales support, including assistance with warranty and service options

Qualifications

  • Excellent negotiation and selling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Experience using CRM software or other sales management tools
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven experience in B2B or B2C sales, with a preference for experience in the transportation or industrial equipment sector
  • Strong technical proficiency or a background in engineering is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
  • Goal-oriented and result-driven
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and evolving customer needs
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
  • Environmental awareness and a commitment to sustainability are desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
